Theo || 3
Our sweet sunshine boy turned 3 yesterday. He loves to help cook, clean, and do everything we are doing in the garden and around the house. There isn’t a truck on this earth he doesn’t like. He’ll play outside for hours especially at the lake and loves Poppy’s boat. My dad is Paw-paw in all situations to Theo, except when it comes to the boat. Then he says Poppy, I wish I understood. I love the tradition of asking kids questions on their birthday, and he’s old enough to start this year so here’s what I asked him!
What’s your Favorite Toy? My town (a piece of cardboard we drew roads on houses on)
What is your favorite food? Watermelon
What’s your favorite color? Yellow
What do you want to be when you grow up? A builder
What’s your favorite flavor of cake? Lemon
What’s your favorite TV show? Daniel Tiger
What makes you happy? Raffi (His lovey)
What’s your favorite book? Daisy the Digger
What’s your favorite animal? Horsey
What was your favorite thing about being 2? Eating my cheese
What do you think is going to be fun about being 3? Painting
Theo celebrated his birthday with my side of the family with dinner, cake, and presents. He did amazing blowing out his candles in one go. He did in fact get his lemon cake topped with a truck and orange construction cone candles.
He woke up to a bunch of balloons hanging outside his room, and he loved it. I’m trying to decided on a few small traditions to start that are simple, but impactful as the kids grow up. I’d love to hear any traditions around birthdays you grew up with, or are doing with your kids!
